Jane's Blueberry Coffee Cake

Cake Ingredients:
¾ cups Sugar 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
2 Eggs ½ teaspoon Salt
¼ cup unsalted Butter ½ teaspoon nutmeg
½ Cup Milk ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
1½ cup sifted Flour 1 pint fresh blueberries
 
Topping Ingredients:
½ cup sugar ½ teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup flour ¼ cup unsalted butter
 
Beat the sugar, butter, milk and eggs together, then separately sift together the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, cloves). Stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture, then carefully fold in the blueberries.

Spread atter into a 9" square pan. Spread on topping. Bake in preheated 375° oven for about 40 minutes.
